ISTH Appoints Flora Peyvandi as President for 2022-2024

Chapel Hill, NC, USA - February 13, 2020 - The International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH), a global not-for-profit advancing the understanding, prevention, diagnosis and treatment of conditions related to thrombosis and hemostasis, announced today the appointment of Flora Peyvandi, M.D., Ph.D., as ISTH President for the 2022-2024 term. Peyvandi is a professor of internal medicine at the University of Milan and the Director of the Angelo Bianchi Bonomi, Hemophilia and Thrombosis Center at the Internal Medicine-Hemostasis and Thrombosis Unit of the IRCCS Maggiore Hospital in Milan, Italy.
